Poshy Nails is a nail salon located in Dural NSW, specializes in all thing’s nails.

Services offered include manicure, pedicure, nail art, waxing, eyelash extensions, spray tan, facials and make-up.

The need of a continuous stream of new clients is essential and crucial to the business.
The client’s bookings were slowing down during the Winter Seasons. They wanted to increase their customer base to keep their 7 Nail Technicians busy so they don’t have to let anyone go.

The Challenge

On the first day of implementing the strategy, it immediately generated 10 leads, which overwhelmed the business owner.

The Solution

To overcome this challenge, we setup an automated SMS based Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM) and had our internal team send texts and book appointments on their behalf.

The client only gets an email when we booked an appointment so she can mark it in her calendar.

This strategy resulted in 30% appointment booking rate with 0 involvement from the business owner.

General Facebook Strategy

Tangy Digital created a dedicated landing page with a Manicure and Pedicure offer. 

We split tested five (5) different images and three (3) Ad copies on Facebook to make sure we created a winning Ad.

How we “forced” a post to go viral with 1000+ comments and boosted ticket sales

Australian Badminton Open

The Australian Badminton Open is Australia’s largest and most prestigious badminton tournament.

This year, they had the top badminton athletes from around the world including 2 times Olympic Gold Medalist Lin Dan and many other legends.

Their Goal
Badminton Australia wanted to promote this event with a limited budget, and generate awareness and engagement amongst all the badminton fans and players within Sydney.

The Challenge

Because Badminton is not a well-funded sport in Australia, they had a limited budget to work with as well as a small demographic. From our initial research, we have found that there were only around 40,000 badminton fans within Sydney, which is less than 1% of the population.

The Solution

We ran a two-part Facebook advertising campaign to maximise the engagement and response from their limited budget.

In order to generate a large boost of engagement, we started off with a giveaway of 4 tickets, badminton rackets and more. 

The requirement of entry was to comment why they wanted to win. 

We had over 1000 comments, many of them were stories about their personal experiences with badminton as well as how badminton has affected their life. 

This connected badminton fans all around Australia as they started their own conversations within the thread.

We linked the post to what we call a Messenger Bot, which automatically messages anyone who enters the giveaway. 

The reason this is important is because it gives us an opportunity to communicate with our audience directly to their inbox.

Step 2: Recreate the ticket purchase experience

In the past, Badminton Australia has relied on their email list and their limited organic Facebook reach to promote ticket sales. 

To boost this up, the Tangy Digital team created a brand new landing page website which clearly outlined the tournament information, the value proposition and streamlined the ticket purchase process.

We then ran Facebook Ads featuring some competitors directing them to the new landing page. 

From this campaign, we were generating clicks from as little as 9 cents each, which is 11x cheaper than the industry standard.

The Results

We reached 74% of the badminton community in Sydney from these campaigns, and generated clicks to purchase tickets from as little as 9 cents each. 11x lower than the industry standard!

How We Booked Out a Landscape Architect in 57 days

Louisa is a passionate Landscape architect and qualified horticulturalist who helps homeowners turn their yards and gardens into an outdoor paradise.

As a solo business owner, Louisa has been relying on referrals and word of mouth as their only source of new clients. We started by creating a new and unique offer which can separate them from their competition. We called it the "Dream Garden Consultation".

This is a free 15 minute over-the-phone consultation with Louisa where she learns about the client's vision, their expectations as well as their budget to determine whether they will be a potential client (or if they are a tire-kicker), and it gives her an opportunity to share her "5 Step Dream Garden Process".

If the client is a good fit, then she goes over for an in-person site assessment and quote, where she can bill for her time. (No more Free Quotes).

We created a brand new landing page which reflected her brand and her new offer, and ran 5 variations of Facebook ads, each with different messaging and personality. From our test, we found that the "personal" and informal ad worked the best, so we focused the majority of our budget on that one.

THE RESULTS

28 Qualified Leads in 57 days, which completely booked out her schedule for several months.

These weren’t just regular leads…. They were passionate read-to-go leads who desperately wanted to transform their garden.
